My Life Would Suck Without You

I still can't believe I have managed to dump this blog aside for a full 7 weeks! It did not even cross my mind to type www.blogger.com in the address box of Mozilla. It was harder to resist Facebook, which brings me to a thought: Has blogging really become a thing of the last decade with the invasion of Facebook?..

Anyway, before I begin on my post, let me make a very important announcement first:

OMGOMGOMGIAMFINALLYDONEWITHMYALEVELSAFTER2.5YEARSANDTWOCOLLEGES!!!!

After all that blood, sweat and tears (literally), I can finally feel REAL freedom, even if it only lasts for about 3 months. Post-exam feelings set in on the night of 29th June, to the point where my restless mind disrupted my ability to sleep. Not to mention the past-midnight cheers from the penalty shoot out between Japan and Paraguay (i think)

Then everything went by quickly, from dinner to packing to interviews. When it finally came to the last day of my stay in Shah Alam, I looked back at my room, now stripped bare from packing up and that is when the nostalgia thought came. How much it was filled with sweet memories. How I managed to stay here for two years. How such a foreign place became so familiar to me. It was almost like a second home despite it several shortcomings. In fact, I have learned to deal with the physical problems of my room. I even miss staring out from the balcony, whether it was to figure out what the heck was baryons, observe falling raindrops or just to embrace the serenity of the place. I miss the homely feeling I felt when I see the "A7309" sign after a busy day, knowing I was home.

In short, I was emotional about leaving and there have been numerous times where I felt like crying but I held back my tears. So I have decided to dedicate this song to the physical aspects of my room because I love staying in this room despite its drawbacks.
