Don't bring around a cloud to rain on my parade
Don't tell me not to fly, I simply got to
If someone takes a spill, it's me and not you
Who told you you're allowed to rain on my parade

Oh my..the Sun was shining brightly from 9am to 5pm. I was committed to start on my experiment and sunlight was an important component for my experiment. I have checked out the procedure beforehand and done my homework. But I ignored the section that talked about controlling the amount of sunlight needed, because I am in a tropical country with plentiful amount of sunlight to the point where we hide away from them by cuddling up in our air-conditioned room.
The sterile water was not prepared yet so I couldn't conduct my experiment after all. It didn't bother me to start on Tuesday, since the Sun will be up again.

Another thing you should take note about the weather here. It is not only full with days of continuous, scorching sunshines but it is also very VERY unpredictable. Today, I finally truly understood the simile "Unpredictable as weather". The Sun shone brightly from 9 to 12 but I still had class.
The rain began to pour down unexpectedly at 12, just when I was going to the lab to start my experiment! I thought that it just wasn't my day and I'd rather go back to the hostel than linger around doing nothing. But just as I finished packing and was set to go home, the rain stopped and the scorching sunshine returned. I was rather perplexed but I thought the "law of attraction" really happened when I prayed hard for the rain to stop.
So, I went to the lab to prepare my experiment. Once the organisms and apparatus were ready to get a taste of the hot Malaysian weather, it rained again!! I mulled over my fate with the weather and was about to clear my apparatus when the Sun came up again!! Now I felt like the weather was playing tricks with me.
And I fell for it since my optimism side was "Hey cool, the sunlight after rain. This will definitely last" Its like the light at the end of a dark tunnel. So I continued to prepare the organisms. Yes. Murphy's Law smack me hard as it rained again when I was about to expose the organisms to sunlight. And it was on this day, out of all days when the UV light in the laminar flow fails to function. T.T
This cycle carried on for the next two hours and at about 3pm, I was convinced that the Sun was buried too deep within the thick clouds and will hide itself until tomorrow comes. Well, at least I was right about that.

Oh the Sun is shining so bright again. Who knows how the weather will treat me today?
