Beauty and the beast
I watched Princess and the Frog today. Bah, it was quite bland for me. Sometimes I wonder if the cartoons made nowadays are just boring or I am really losing my appeal towards them as I hit the big "Two-old" in less than 5 months time. I mean, the last cartoon that really cracked me up was Ice Age 3, but that was just plain NUTS with nothing really impactful. Wall E was cute and adorable, but nothing beats the classics back in the 90's. [oh crap, I feel old=P].
Movies like Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Aladdin, Cinderella, Lion King, Pocahontas, Mulan always creates a lasting image that never leaves my mind. Well even though, I barely remember the minute details of the story, there will always be parts of it my mind until today. Watching Princess and the Frog today did not get me googling about that movie but instead, it made me to search older Disney movies just to rekindle the little memories I had about those movies.
Forgive me for my "fairytale-5-year-old" moment but those from the 90's knows how these movies can really make us escape from the complicated reality sometimes. A little sweet escape and cliche-ness won't hurt no? Btw, I still think Belle is the prettiest Disney princess, what about you?=P

Blergh. I should snap out of this right now. I have got my last 2700 words report to complete, a coursework to be pulled out of a sinking quicksand and textbooks screaming for my attention. =[

Those were the days! I remember vividly all the scenes in Snow White and the song sung by the dwarfs (Hey Ho!) after a long day's toil.
