We The Dreamers

Dreams often occur when one fails to get enough or proper sleep at night. I have not look up the scientific logic behind dreams, but I know it has something to do with REM. (Enlighten me, please). People dream of various things, ranging from hilarious ones (being in a movie) or to bizzare ones (jumping off a cliff). But usually dreams encompasses and sometimes exaggerates the events that occur in our daily lives.

I had a dream last night. An AWESOME one. My hostel had been renovated over the long break into a 6-star, fully air-conditioned presidential suite but which had more resemblance to a mansion. There is an enormous hall in the centre of the room which was equipped with a plasma TV and a comfortable sofa. The window looks out to a sandy beach and the bluest sea I have ever seen. (Now, I told you they were heavily accentuated)

There were four rooms with two on each side of the hall. Mine was on the left side and the door led me to a huge room with four single beds. Although I knew we had to share room, I was delighted because there was more than enough space for everyone. They even provided us with study tables made out of solid wood.

Then on the far end of the "mansion" was a kitchen. It was not just a kitchen, but a nicely decorated and fully equipped one with items ranging from a two-door fridge, gas stoves, an oven and shiny pots and pans.

I was slowly absorbing the details of my renovated home. It felt like my dream home or my fantasized vacation...or a dream come true...

..BUT IT WAS JUST A DREAM!

I woke up to hard reality. In less than 24 hours, I will be back in my hostel, reality-style which is nothing like I have ever dream of. Today marks the start of my last semester, the determination stage. I hope I am ready.

What if I told you that I threw away 86400 X 45 seconds? DIE!
