I am not sure if I have mentioned this before. I like it when it rains because it not only makes siestas more comfortable, but one can just get lost in dreamland staring at the raindrops falling down. Plus, staring at it or even getting drenched in it helps to calm the soul (Although the latter might land you a trip to a clinic).
Today the rain was just the way I like it. Oh believe me, I am not thrilled to all types of rainy seasons. I dislike storms because they always look terrifying, I dislike the strong winds that sometimes accompany the rainfall because that combination always ruins the serenity of rain. But slight dristles seems pretty annoying too since the effect is not calming enough. The worst kind of rain would be the one that occurs when the Sun is shining brightly at the same time. Other than doubling the risk of falling ill, that mixture makes the weather humid and warm.
The best type of rain for me? The type where there is heavy rainfall with no wind and just some occasional lightning. (Of course, how else would I expect heavy rainfall?). The type of raindrops that just fall straight down, unaffected by the wind. =)
Did you really think I had so much time to stare at the rain? With so much piled up homework, I barely have time to eat! I was just stuck in Baker's Cottage with no umbrella. Lol. But it was not an entirely bad moment, thanks to the rain. =) And I treated myself with New York Cheesecake! XD
